Use Your Insurance Benefits!

You may be wondering right about now how does insurance work if you want to see a Registered Dietitian.

Will insurance pick up the cost of your nutrition visit?

YES, in fact in many cases it will! Most health insurance companies cover nutritional counseling.

So in most instances you CAN use insurance for your nutrition visit.

But benefits verification is an ESSENTIAL step to confirm you do in fact have benefits on your insurance policy for nutritional counseling (details below!).

I will verify your benefits, but you MUST provide all the information request, in a timely matter, in order for coverage to occur.  (I'm new at this, so I need extra time to make sure everything is set up *before* we meet for the first time)

This is often the case EVEN if you don’t have an actual diagnosis BUT still want to come in for nutrition counseling for prevention of a disease.

The information below will walk you through the steps to take to see if your insurance will cover the cost of nutrition counseling for your visit.

Let's identify your greatest health challenges and improve your diet, lifestyle, and trajectory of your health...all while using the insurance benefits you already pay for!
